how many burners do i need?

When it comes to the number of burners of gas hob you need really depends on how you cook, how many people are in your household and how you use your kitchen. For instance, if you just cook a little or you live alone, a gas hob with one or two burners might be just fine. If you have a bigger family you will probably want a gas hob with three or four burners. This way you can cook at the same time and it will make cooking easier. At CHEFF we think about customer' s needs when we decide on the burners. We look at how you cook, what your kitchen is like and how often you will use the gas hob. Our goal is to make sure you can use the burners easily and that they work well. One good thing about CHEFF gas hobs is that the burners are spaced out nicely. This means you can use burners at the same time without the pots and pans getting in the way even if you are using big ones.In addition to functionality, safety is always a top priority in our design concept. Adequate spacing between burners helps reduce heat interference, improves ventilation, and minimizes the risk of accidental contact between cookware and surrounding surfaces. Each configuration is engineered and tested to maintain stable flame performance, efficient heat distribution, and safe operation under simultaneous multi-burner use. Therefore, choosing the right number of burners is not only about capacity, but also about balancing efficiency, kitchen space, and safety. CHEFF is committed to providing tailored solutions that meet different market requirements while ensuring high safety standards, reliable performance, and user-friendly operation for both residential and professional cooking environments.

What happens when I let something boil over?

When a pot boils over in PITT cooking system, we were ready for it. A key aspect of our design is that the windproof burner support ring (the ring you see under your pans) isn’t just there to balance your cookware and boost fuel efficiency by pushing more heat upwards—it works as a built-in catch and spill protector, too!Because of the large burner diameter and smart design, most boiling overs and food splatters won’t travel into the center burner area. Rather, they rest mostly on the heat shield or windproof ring. This keeps debris away from vital gas combustion zones, ensuring continued reliable ignition and consistent flames even after boil-overs.This helps prevent clogs, disrupted gas flow, and uneven flames—all while reducing the potential for grease accumulation inside the burner system.Cleanup is just as easy. In most instances, you simply wipe down the spilled liquid off the outer part of the heat shield itself using a wet cloth or light cleaner. No need for intricate tear-downs which saves time and labor. All in all, CHEFF’s cooking system is engineered for the sake of functionality and security. Even with overflow problems, its design prevents messes from spreading, keeps internal parts secure, and maintains consistent safety — ensuring that you have a stress-free cooking experience whether at home or at your workplace.

How are the burners installed into the countertop?

At CHEFF, we have developed an innovative system for installing our gas burners. Our goal was to create a modular installation concept which enables maximum flexibility when assembling your kitchen project - while ensuring highest safety standards at the same time. All units in our range come assembled on a standardised installation module with predefined gas connection interface. You can install them all the way down from below the countertop using precisely defined cut-outs. In this step-by-step guide, you will learn how exactly to do this. The easiest approach involves fixing the module from above by fastening it to the burners via its heat shield structure. For greater stability, we recommend adding two supporting joist structures. These will be installed into the kitchen cabinets, reinforcing the installation by additionally supporting the underside of the module. We don’t just focus on the installation part at all. At CHEFF, we are committed to ensuring that our product performs optimally in your home kitchens. We understand why you would want to get this amazing device into your kitchen quickly. However, with the modular nature of our product, installing this device couldn't be more convenient than ever before. But above everything else, our priority has been making sure the installation process maintains high-end safety protocols to ensure optimal performance and security. Our product will work flawlessly even if installed by a professional installer, thanks to its modular structure. Our team has ensured that gas connections are made safely, and structures are mounted securely.
